I have an interest in keeping that passion for letter writing aflame, not because it means stationery or stamps stick around longer, but because it means we are still spending time on one another in a world where we move from thing to thing so quickly.

A year has almost come and gone. 2015 will soon be a faded memory. It will be a year of triumph for some and failure for others. I have not done what I should have this past year. I have maintained but have not lost anything else except in this past few weeks. I am going to be a different person in 2016. One with more determination than 2015. I can do this, I know I can.

I am not going to be the same person I was a year ago. I am not going to be standing in my own way, yet I am going to adopt ways in which I will enhance myself even more then in 2015. Each month I will write a chapter in my book about what the month has presented to me and how I have handled it.

My goals are simple. To do the best I can do in any given situation, which for me means taking time for myself every single day. I WILL NOT BE A SLACKER!!!

1.) I will continue to exercise consistently

2.) I will continue to track the foods I eat and learn from my mistakes, but most of all try not to make mistakes I have made previously.

3.) I will continue to drink at least 8 glasses, if not more, daily.

4.) I will continue to log on to Spark People and accumulate at least 75 points or more daily.

5.) I will become more active in the 4 groups that I belong to.

1. Start new. Don't worry about what used to be, or how many times I've tried before, but concentrate on the here and now.

1. Use resistant bands for strengthening.

    Donna I so appreciate your kind words and can't wait to step on that yacht! ..... A cruise sounds great! ......In my note, I was not talking to you as you have been there so much, (or for the 3-4 that post. I know what has been going on in your life).............. I was saying we have the same very few but tons have joined, and never pop on again ..........while some pop on on rare occasion and are gone again. I have reached out almost begging if we are going to be a team ...........PLEASE participate .......... sent all kinds of messages and finally stopped beating my head into a wall........ Most never even bothered to write a note or respond in any way ........... and I doubt many will even notice I (and David are gone) ...........You would have to come on to notice. (David and I also lead very busy lives)
    I do know it is way more than the summer season as it was still the same last Winter, Fall and really at all times. (The Leader before me who started the team: HOMEBODY got weary and disheartened and asked us if we would like to give it a whirl as she was done trying.) She also left the team; and Monkia, my sweet friend, came on board and as you remember posted most motivational peps on the wall every single day) .............But she has left too ..... A team is more than a leader (s) .......... like a teacher can't teach a class if only 2-4 students show up. Anyway, I think I will now let "other people" do the leading and I will just play in Sparks, read blogs and such. Again, thank you for sending me a kind word ..... You are a sweet person ... and maybe we will see each other n other places ........... and of course I will still pop on and read your blogs! .............. emoticon
