My Goals:
To lose 30 pounds or more, and to get in better physical shape, and to learn how to eat healthier. I also want to quite smoking, because even though I am down to five cig a day, I cannot seem to get rid of them.

My Program:
I am working out at a gym twice a week and walking with my dog between 20 and30 minutes once a week.

Personal Information:
I am from Hemet CA. and my name is Mickey.
I am sensitive to the heat, so during the summer I am unable to do much in regards to outdoor activities.

Other Information:
I am currently going to college, and I love to garden, hike in the mountains, going to the ocean, and camping. I also love to travel which I do not do much of, and would like to see more of the world.

Welcome to the Sleep Apnea team. I love your walking Buddy. You will have to check out my Spark Page. My walking buddy's name is "Buddy". He is a very bossy exercise coach and has got me from 1/4 mile walks to 4 mile walks in five months.

Hi Drewdrop and thank you for the hugs It made my day. Well you are off to a good start. You go girl we can do this together. I am at a standstill right now and yoyoing to boot. I just hate it. It is so very difficult to lose this last 20 lbs. But I am not going to give up I gained a 1/2 of a pound this week and I will work on my stationary bike to lose it and more. Welcome to SP and the Cholesterol team. It's so nice to have you join in. You will find lots of support, encouragement, good advice and information from other members. Be sure and Check out the topics: Spark America and Merck Study in the Teams General Discussion forum page. Use your Spark Points page to help you use and learn all the great tools this site has to offer. I see you have a BP issue, I did till I took 1200 units of garlic a day and a few months later dropped to 500 when my BP dropped from 220/110 to 120/79 and has stayed @12 yrs now. Drop by our pages for a get to know you visit. Again, welcome to SP and the team. I did a study for Merck for Cholesterol and received a print out of food do's and don'ts. Anyone that wants these, send me a Spark Mail with your e-mail address and I will sent them right out. Do not post your e-mail on the Boards, I don't always check every reply or discussion.
