My Goals:
My goal is to be in the best shape mentally, physically and emotionally that I can be in by next Jan. when I turn 60. At 60 I feel like I am entering my senior years (so called golden years) and I want them to be great fun filled years. I have a lot of things I want to see and do yet in my life. Mostly I want to be healthy enough to do whatever I desire without limitations.

My Program:
I am trying desperately to form a daily exercise habit. One that includes a daily walk and some weight training. I am not out to exercise 8 hours a day. I just want to accomplish something on a daily basis.

Personal Information:
I live in rural TN. I am half way between Knoxville and Nashville, but farther north, I am only three miles from the KY state line. I have lived here 25 years. I moved here from LA county Calif. where I lived for 12 years. I was born and raised 20 miles outside of Chicago.

The town I live in is very small and pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I am 48 miles from a the nearest Wal-Mart. The county I live in does not have a stop light. There is one flashing yellow light at the hospital (a 32 bed hospital). The only thing this area has is a lake, a big beautiful lake, with 650 miles of shoreline and rated the third cleanest in the nation. A fisherman's paradise, I don't fish but I do enjoy the lake. I work at the lake May through Oct. and try to get out on it as much as I can.
