Janet, that is great to hear! Good for you and Jen for finding that magic balance--and hooray for the Gems! I hope the Dragons can be comfortable during this challenge, too. We are working on it, my friend!

Yes, I believe the Dragons may have burnt out a few of our own this time--or come very close to it! I will be glad to go back to organizing a fitness program exclusively around my needs and individual issues. I will be relieved to have less tracking this time!

Gosh, Janet, we were so excited about the squads and WOEs, and they were fabulous for the first six weeks or so. Perhaps next time we do something on such a large scale we can make these types of activities optional extras, and only short-term, rather than running for all ten weeks. Four weeks and a break, then an option to continue for four weeks more? It could work! As we discuss Spring it On, I may mention this idea in the Leader's Nest. I think many Dragons were very inspired by the WOEs and did extremely well. I know I was absolutely on fire, until I got sick and then had to move my MIL to assisted living. It all became too much for me, once life began to happen.

Thanks for letting me bounce these ideas off you! I'll run them by some of the Dragon leaders, too.

Enjoy the yellow brick road! The Emerald City is in sight, my friend! Just watch out for flying monkeys... they sometimes tend to pelt us with candy bars and French fries! LOL!

    Hello, Emerald Dragon extraordinaire!

I have loved having you in the Nest during this challenge. Thanks for giving us Dragons the opportunity to get to know some of your Gems--and they ARE gems.

All the best with the plans for Spring it On! We Dragon leaders are deep in plans at the moment. We are scaling this challenge down a bit, and replacing the WOEs with optional mini challenges, both fitness and nutritional challenges. This way, if Dragons wish to go beyond the ITCs, they can, and when things get busy or germs strike we can simply choose not to do the extra activities.

Please feel free to visit the Nest anytime. I hope you do not mind if some of us Dragons pop by your page to see how you are doing!

All the best for a great spring challenge!

    Megan
