The journey of 1000 miles starts with putting on your shoes and turning off the TV.

This is my new mantra. I can't get anywhere barefoot in front of the television. Once I start I am great, it is getting started that takes me forever.

I have changed my life goals. I am now on a journey to be stronger, more flexible, and more energetic. Whichever body type gets me to those places is fine with me. However, I need to do the work to get to that point.

Come walk beside me on my journey. Or we'll take turns walking in front of each other kicking butts, I ...

My Goals:
I need to get motivated. I need to be healthier, and be proud of me. So time to get off my butt.

My Program:
Quite simply, I am eating clean and moving more.

Personal Information:
I am trying harder to be a HAES activist. I am choosing to love my body the way that it is, and to stop fat bigotry when I see it. My body does so many amazing things for me, that I am going to work harder to fuel it better- and to move it the way that it was intended to. Nobody was intended to sit all day. I will be a healthier and more fit human when I am done.

Audra is a dear friend of mine and then I just heard from Dar one of our fearless Camp Leaders that you are also from Vermont and I HAD to come and give a shout out. Of course you are MUCH younger than I but I graduated from Mt. Mansfield Union High School in Jericho. My son went to NECI and became a chef and last spring our daughter graduated from Norwich University. Lots of Vermont love going on! It really IS a small world!
