Me!

I have always struggled with my weight, but I am reaching the point where even though I want to lose more, I am in a healthy weight range.

I vacillated between 140 and 155 for sophomore thru senior year of college. I took up running in earnest when I graduated school (I had run off and on my senior year) and now am losing weight thanks to the exercise! I'm finally at the point where I ENJOY working out. I ran a 10k in Oct. and am planning to run a half marathon in spring.

I am the epitome of an emotional eater. I eat when I'm bored, when I'm upset, when I'm sad and especially when I'm stressed. I need to utilize portion control to reach my goal weight of 115. :)

So glad you understand about those small meals! Sometimes it works for me thinking "hm, what's next?"and knowing I have lots of little snacks ahead, but sometimes I just get obsessive. I'm having a small dinner party tonight, so I'm going to keep busy with prep and eat one decent-sized lunch and get most of my calories for dinner all at once at the party and see how that feels.

I hope you have a great weekend!
