Hi, my name is Denise McIllwain. I'm about 6'1 and have significantly amount of weight to take off. I'm married and have been for about 21 years. I have three children. I'm a diabetic and my blood sugar is normal. I'm on a healthy diet. I eat about 5 - 6 meals a day because that is what is suggested by my dietician. I want to get down to before I had my baby weight which was 12 years ago. I love exercising. I exercise 1 to 2 hours every other day. It feels so wonderful and I feel very energetic. I want to get many buddies involved in my task so we can help each other. I plan to be the desired weight by Dec. 2016. It seems far away, but closer than anyone knows. So if you are revved up to do what is important, than lets get started!

That was how I started a year or so ago. Now I'm 80 pounds lighter and lost significant amount of inches. I'm blown away by my weight loss. I look great and feel wonderful. My husband can't keep his eyes and hands off of me. The best feeling in the world. I get so many compliments about the way I look and my confidence level. I can't stress how happy I am right now. I've been away from SparKPeople for awhile and now I've COME STRONGER THAN EVER. Look at me....I'm going for Platinum. No more gold. It's time for the best. I have a regular routine that I do daily. I work on my whole self, not just the body. My mind is at ease and I have much tranquility and serenity. I'm at peace with myself thanks to my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. My blood sugar is normal and my blood pressure isn't bad. I do not take insulin no longer or any type of diabetic medicine...Whooohoooo...I'm doing it!!! Go Denise Go Denise...lol

My Goals:
I would like to lose about 114 more pounds and get down to about 180 pounds. I can do that by the end of this year hopefully.


My Program:
I am eating healthy and running outside while my kids ride their bikes. I'm exercising inside with one of the best explosive dvds I've ever owned thanks to my mother. I'm drinking plenty of water and doing everything right. I watch ever little thing I eat. I eat everything just very small portions. It obviously is working for me. I'm exhilarated!!!!!!
