I've got a lot together...except my weight and eating habits. Kept my head below the sand on these issues and now am bulging out of a Size 16W. I am missing out on some the best times of my life by hiding behind all the fat, and being embarrassed about not looking my best. And, how about the energy for one's day. Mine can be a lot better. It's time.

My Goals:
My goals include taking off 59 lbs in a year's time. And, short term, 5 lbs in a month's June 16th.

My weakness has been eating too much at dinner, eating too early and then being hungry later. Then rummaging the place for snacks after dinnertime. Sweets.

Then there's drinking wine. I love wine and drink more than a glass at a time. It all adds calories to my daily build-up, and seems to lower my inhibitions for snacking later. I even think it makes me hungrier for sugary foods. Feeds the beast, as it were.

I have not been successful at founding a regular exercise program, especially as it has been a long, cold winter and not an easy situation for going outside. I just bought an exercise tape for walking inside, but am in not very good physical shape and don't want to hurt my knees or have other physical problems once I start with an exercise program.

Need that program and the support to keep at it!

My Program:
As of this week, got an exercise "walking" tape and a CD player at my house. Plan to follow that twice a week, and more as my abilities to exercise build up.

Started listing my daily food intake in a small notebook.
