Since childhood, I've struggled to lose weight. One of my earliest memories is of trying the slimfast diet. I was only 9 years old. From that point on, I've been battling my weight, gaining steadily and losing slowly. I've been on Sparkpeople for 8 years. In that time, I managed to lose 50 pounds. However, I didn't maintain it. Life got in the way, I gained half of it back. Now, 8 years later, it's 2016 and I'm starting over AGAIN. This time around, I'm less critical of my body. I'm in very different place in my life, a happier more stable place. I understand that life isn't a sprint, but a marathon and that's my approach everything now. So, I have 30 lbs to lose. I'm here...let's go.
