STARTING FROM WHERE I AM!

I'm back!! Haven't been here in too long. Made a lot of mistakes, but learned a few lessons. back up to 261 pounds....I'm bummed, BUT I know why and how I got here and I know how to get back where I was! No big "sparks" flyin' right now(pardon the pun). I'm just starting with mini goals right now.

Mini Goals:
Track my food every day
Drink atleast one bottle of water a day

That's where I am.

My Goals:
***PHASE 2***

Well, now that I have reached my first ticker weight hump, it is time to change my goals. I have noted some of them in my intro text. Another of my goals in this phase is to continue to strengthen the habits that I have established over these last few months. Also, I didn't really start any kind of exercise routine until a couple of months into my journey. I have been walking three times a day and that has made such a differnce in the way that I feel. Now I can walk to the store or the bus stop 15 or 20 minutes away like its nothing.
So, I would say that my main foals of this phase is to just "CONTINUE"...It's real easy to become "relaxed" and fall away at this point. Now I want to improve my patterns, reasons, and choices concerning eating. I plan to incorporate all that I learned from the first phase.

My Program:
I have broken my weight loss down in tho 4 phases. My goal is to lose 33.5 pounds per phase, but my ultimate goal in each phase is to spend that time learning, growing, and losing, as much as possible.

Phase 1: Information gathering, getting support, and trying to commit to journaling. And to start a very light walking program
After 40 days!! in stage 1-I finally moved to stage 2 on 12/16/07..Honestly I was afraid to move. I am afraid of failing..though I have managed to lose some weight and I feel great, I just don't want this to be another one of those times that I lose 20 or 25 pounds, get too happy, complacent, off track, and discouraged resulting in the return to my old ways of doing this. I am determined to do this..I want me "brick house" body back!!

***NEW PROGRAM**
1. Continue walking out doors
2. Incorporate toning into my program.
3. Start working out to my new Lesie Sansone DVD...

Personal Information:
I am from Southern California. No, I don't live on the sunny beach, I actually live in the upper desert. Its nice because I am only an hour and half from the beach, there are several great man made lakes within 35 minutes, and we are also only 35 minutes from the mountains as well. I was born here in this town. I am looking for a change and praying regarding a move. I have two daughters 21 and 22.

Other Information:
I AM A TOTAL "I LOVE LUCY" FAN. I AM ALSO A MEMORBALIA COLLECTOR OF LUCY ITEMS. I LIKE READING, DOING PUZZLES OF ALL KINDS(CROSS WORD, JIGSAW, FILL-IT-INS), I LIKE GETTING UP EARLY ON SATURDAYS AND GOING TO GARAGE SALES HUNTING FOR TREASURES. MY FAVORITE BOOK IS GRAPES OF WRATH. MY FAVORITE MOVIES: TOMBSTONE, THE NOTE BOOK, THE FIVE HEART BEATS,THELMA AND LOUISE, EVER AFTER, THE WEDDING SINGER, MADAGASCAR, SHREK 1, NORBIT, AND MOST RECENTLY: ENCHANTED. MY FAVORITE T.V SHOWS: CHUCK, LAW AND ORDER SVU, THE DR. PHIL SHOW, KING OF THE HILL, EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRARIE, COLD CASE, DESIGNING WOMEN,THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, AND OF COURSE I LOVE LUCY! I ALSO ENJOY THE SHAKESPERE PLAYS: HAMLET AND MACBETH.

It's so good to hear from you....you go girl...with the school and everything else...you're truly amazing!

I haven't been on in a several weeks now and it's creeping back on me, those darned old BAD habits!

BUT, I'm still hanging on to my goals and I KNOW I WILL MAKE THEM ALL COME TRUE! It's been tough through the holidays. The only consistant thing I've done is walk. Eating whatever I want-NOT GOOD! and not sticking to a plan...what was I thinking? I even just now, popped a cookie in my mouth...HOLY!

Well, I vow to keep in touch. I can't hide from you guys forever! Besides, sometimes you fall off the wagon and need to get back on....I'm just going to have to acknowledge my mistakes and move on from here.

How are you doing here lately?

I'm still here, not getting much further though I did cut my hair off. I'm lingering at the 230 mark and can't seem to ever get to 225 or out of the 220's. What's up with that? HELP!
