Determined to do it

I have been on so many diets, and I have so many different books on the right way to eat. Then I saw a co employee who was in a diet group with me this summer, and she told me about this website, and the tools she learned here helped her take off the weight. That was enough for me to get started.

My Goals:
Ouch! I need to take off 20 or so lbs. (which means more than 20)

My Program:
Low carb, low glycemic seems to work. I took off alot with the Zone and daily Jazzercise a few years back....

Personal Information:
am a newbie, 47 who needs to take off some weight, and need some motivation and buddies. I am going to low carb because it worked in the past. If anyone wants to give me tips on low carb, low glycemic or tell me about your success, I would love to hear about it. Sorry about the construction on the page, it is still a work in process!

Other Information:
II love cooking and develop my own recipies out of really complicated ones, and was on television locally with a low carb dessert that I created. Today i started toward my goal

Welcome to the Calorie Cycling team!

The best place to start, in learning more about calorie cycling, is by reading through the GREAT Tips, Links & Info thread. There is a post with a link to the freedieting website, freedieting.com, with a calorie calculator, to help calculate your 7-day calorie cycling numbers. There is also a post that shows how you can use your sparks calorie range if you don't feel comfortable with the high numbers from the freedieting website. If you still have questions after reading through the threads please don't hesitate to ask. There is an "I NEED HELP" thread or you could always sparkmail me!
