I have been with a Startreck fan for 30 years so it has rubbed off a bit... live in Ottawa (Richmond), diabetic, am a terrible guitar player because I never practice! Has a lot of dust on it.

Thanks for the welcome. Been playing guitar for about 26 years now, just for the fun of it nowadays. Picking up the ukulele more now these days. Jake Shimabukuro is the reason for that, check him out sometime if you haven't already.

No it's Hagar as in Sammy Hagar :)
I "play" guitar-not in any bands just record online with friends-nothing serious just for fun.
Did the cover band thing a few times-not really my thing.
Thanks for the welcome!

Buen provecho y salud.
I do need to buy a Spanish spell checker and Spanish font with the tildes and accent marks in it.

I ended up down here 'cause I went & fell in love with a Texan, if you know anything about Texans there was no way he was going to become a "Yankee" and move north, lol.
We did get a bit of snow 2 years ago, by a bit I mean a sprinkling and you could still see the grass and I think they got some in 1994 too. I can deal with it once in a bit, mainly at xmas but I don't miss those winters up north.
Austin is a great city, sorta like Montréal but without the Francais, I can see why your niece likes it. We're about 3 hours west of there so I don't get to go too often.
In all my years in Canada, travelling Coast to Coast, sadly I never did get to Oddawa.
