Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. I will be popping in on the Weeks 1 - 3 training to help answer any questions that might pop up and to cheer you on to your goals! Be blessed! Be a runner!
Oh no I probably missed you! Just in case you get this... I mean, I love just about every part of NYC. Definitely visit Times Square in all it's glory.... there's a huge Toys R Us with a ferris wheel inside! Maybe that'd be fun! If you can get down to the village (hop on the 6 train to south on Manhattan and get off at Astor place) there are tons of cute, funky little shops and restaurants.
I hope you have fun!! It's a great place to just be spontaneous. There are tons of places to go, things to see. Surprise yourself.

Congrats on your progress this week! I've been kicking my own bum as well... and you're going to New York?! AWESOME! I grew up outside the city, used to go in a lot. Ohh, do I love it. I want to live there soon! I randomly moved to Colorado with the BF, but I swear I left my heart in NYC... what are you doing there?
