Strenght In Numbers

Im a 49yr old women turning 50 in may 2009. Im 70lbs over weight but I am determined to lose all of the 70lbs before my birhday arrives. I am married (unhappily) which contributes to my weight gain so I need some very strong support from anyone. If you have any advice for me I will be here waiting patiently for your support.

My Goals:
My goal; To lose 60lbs, wear a tight fitting dress, wear tanks all summer, and fit into a swimsuit. Try to increase my exercise to 5days a week and more areobics.

My Program:
cardio, weight training, kick boxing and walking/running 3 days a week, low calorie diet. Water no sugar drinks at all. sugar and salt substitutes.

Personal Information:
Im Denise, I live in Philadelphia and I am going to be 50 in May this year. I have been over weight for a long time now but this is the first time Ive really paid any attention to it. My weight is at its hightest (200) and it makes me sick just to look at myself in the mirror. So now Im doing something about it.

Other Information:
I love to take pictures, love action , comedy, adventure movies but no horror flicks. Love R&b, jazz, some rock music. Love bowling, rollerskating, hiking, dancing, swimming, and plays.

I walk like a maniac every day. Anywhere from 1 to 10 miles. If I'm really wanting to kick my weight loss into gear I will walk 3 miles, 4 miles, 5 miles, 6 miles, 7 miles, 8 miles and 9 miles one week. Then the next week 3, 3, 3, 5, 5, 3, 3 and then back to the other schedule. If I feel like taking a break I do take a day off but I never take the same day off on any given week. This way my body never knows what to expect as there really isn't a routine. If that makes sense.
I work out occassionally with my Biggest Loser DVD as well as use hand weights for strength training. I use 1, 2 and 3 lb weights for that.

Please read through the Challenge Information if you haven't already and make sure to introduced yourself yet to the team.
