Hi, I am a massage therapist and student. I have been doing plus size modeling for two years and I am tired of using that as an excuse to be this thick. Although I have enjoyed making us (plus size women) feel better about what to wear and looking beautiful, I want to live a long healthy life, and I'm ready to take charge of my body. I am so very good at taking care of other people and their bodies, but it's time to focus on myself for a change! I have had difficulties maintaining a healthy weight most of my life. I consider myself athletic but more of an artist type.

My Goals:
I want to be able to go hiking for hours and not feel the burn. I want to play sports and be active without complaining or feeling insecure about how my body looks wearing shorts. Run without my legs slapping together. I want to open opportunities to meet new people doing fun activities that right now I am not in shape to do.

My Program:
Walking is huge for me. Just getting outside and walking! Where I live you have to have a car to get anywhere, but I am parking further away from my destinations. I also plan on making tennis play dates, curves curcuit, and rollerblading again, as well as trying pilates videos at home. Diet wise, cutting down on my fat intake which is over 50% most days, and drinking a gallon of water a day.

I just moved to Oakland, Ca. September 2011. I'm a massage therapist! I'm going to CSUEB for Kinesiology.

Other Information:
I love to sing, been called an avant-chanteuse. I want to live that dream. I am really into philosophy and art. I lived in Florence, Italy for three months in 2007, and I want to go back! I am pursuing a career as a Nurse, which I am in school for currently. I am a firm believer in reincarnation.
