    Hi! I saw your comment about being confused on the dailySpark blog this morning.

    It sounds to me like the trainer at the gym has fallen for the hype of the fat-burning zone. I would say, doing what you did that first month worked better. I think it's important to rest between cardio workouts. I have read that doing cardio every other day is best--I usually try to alternate cardio and strength training. I'll do a video workout (like the ones here on SP) for cardio, then the next day, strength training on upper body muscles, then walk the next day, and then do strength training lower body. Every now and then, I do core/abs workouts, but I like to do those to videos rather than just lie there and try and do crunches.

    All that being said ('cause i do get wordy) I'm not an expert or anything, these suggestions are based solely on what has worked for me.

    KPETRORN ..... You can do this .... I have been working on this since May 2012 .... 41 lbs down it is a slow move but we can do this !!!! Let me know if you have questions !!!!

    Hi I work nightshift also boy it can be rough on the waistline. Hope this will help me to lose my 50 unwanted pounds. This is a journey for sure. I can use all the encouragement i can get . emoticon
