My Hubby and I on our wedding day
Me- all 376 lbs of me.
Vegas Sept 2008 - Penn is friggin tall!!
After many years of diets and lifestyle changes, I decided I needed a tool to help me more than just this site and the wonderful people on it. My biggest problem is that no matter what I ate, or how much, I was staying hungry. After considering it for many years (and educating myself) I decided that surgery was a step I was willing to take. I got up to 410 lbs, well, could have been more, that's just the weight the doctor's office wrote down as my start. I am scared and excited about this new journey that I am taking. Wish me luck!!
October 25, 2015 update: I am down 176 pounds at this point. I have been staying around the same weight for a little while now. I think this might be partially due to my new desk job. But I am okay with that since I am now wearing a size that I haven't seen since elementary school! Yes, you have read that correctly. I still have a way to go, but I do feel that I have a chance to get there now. It may be a slower journey now, but that is okay.
I have noticed that my back does not hurt much anymore. Also, I was able to ride on an airplane without a seatbelt extender AND use the tray!!! Those are huge for me because I have never done either before. My husband also complains that I walk too fast now when we go places. Used to, I would always have to make him slow down. So, I guess the weight loss IS having an effect on me!
March 17, 2015 update: I have lost 110 pounds now. People keep asking me if I am feeling better since I am lighter...if I have more energy...honestly, I don't feel any different health/energy wise. I was really hoping that I would feel like I'm ready to go run a marathon or something, oh well...eventually, maybe??
I will say, this is the most weight I have ever lost. I am also down to a weight that I haven't seen since high school!
************Note: if u notice that i have added u to my friends, it is not because i know you, it is because i see u as someone i can either relate to, liked what you said, or am inspired by you. i am not some crazy stalker or anything! LoL****************
I hope to one day be free of my back problems (or at least have less) and get to where I can fit on amusement park rides again! I miss them.

DONE GIRL. (Belated)
The Libra woman is a "steel fist in a velvet glove" who loves everything beautiful, but can put on work clothes and spend the day doing whatever dirty job is needed. Libra was the peacemaker in the family and thus dislikes any type of argument. She is often said to be lazy, but that couldn't be further from the truth as she works very hard to finish a project and then she needs to completely rest. She works best with a partner since she always sees both sides of any situation and she can benefit from another person helping her with a job. She makes a great lawyer, interior designer, hairdresser, furniture salesman, marriage counselor, parent (she's fair), arbitrator, judge, artist, yoga instructor, personnel director, math teacher or architect. She thrives in any profession where she is a team player and working with people.
Libra's health issues are around her kidneys and her skin.
Libra can have a weight issues if her scales are off balance, but by nature, Libra isn't a fat sign. To stay in balance she needs to learn to eat to live and find ways to relieve her stress, often through dance, Pilates, biking, or team sports such as volleyball.
Libra gets along best with Sagittarius, Aries, Gemini, Leo and Aquarius.
