Here's to the day when shredded wheat is a better snack than a box of macaroni and cheese! THAT DAY IS NOW!!!! I'm 34, almost 35, and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I'm getting closer to knowing and SP is helping me get there in so many ways. I know for a fact that having more energy and a better self image will help me figure that out.
So, I've been here since April, and doing pretty great. When I started, I thought running 3 miles was madness and now I'm thinking that a 10K might be a piece of cake, since I'm looking forward to 26.1 miles in March. The tortilla chips still haunt me, but I'm able to avoid the siren call of cinnamon buns, doghnuts, and now even cigarettes are banished. Can't believe it. Down to a size 12 from a 16 just 5 months ago, and looking forward to more loss in the next 6 months. Go Me!
Follow up - have done a 10K and 1/2 marathon and down to a size 10!
More follow up - add another 1/2 marathon and the big one (26.2 coming up next week). I'm probably closer to an 8 now, and feeling great!
OK - more follow up. That marathon was great! What's next?
To run the LA marathon in March, 2007 DONE! and the Long Beach 1/2 marathon in October, 2006. DONE! To be able to fit into a Marc Jacobs outfit by my birthday in April, 2007. DONE IN ADVANCE!

I haven't seen you in awhile and I thought I'd check out your Spage. Wow, you've run a HM and a Marathon!! How exciting! I did my first 5k and a 5 miler. I am training for a 10k and a 8 3/4 miler in February. I want to do a HM and am slowly working up to that. What training program are you following? Well, you look fantastic! Kudos to you!
