I started my WL journey at 320# in Feb. 2005 and joined CalorieKing in April 2005. I did very well there, (lost about 165#, then slowly gained 35#back) and now I'm giving SparkPeople a try.

I am currently fighting with stayin on track. I am losing and gaining the same 10# over and over. '

The support here is awesome and I plan to reach goal. I find that I do best when my focus is on being healthy and fit rather than on the numbers on the scale. Now if I can only ...

Very interesting what you commented on my blog. So do you think we have a tendency to sabotage ourselves when that happens. I do think I did that the last time I lost. I didn't like the way I looked then. That was the first thing everyone noticed. "OMG! Your face is so sunken!"

Does it make you wonder how we'd do if we actually treated it that way? Of course the problem is we can't LIVE without eating. And I'm convinced it's also the psychological part of the act of eating that's the problem. I've just had two weeks of all kinds of special "occasions" where all we did was eat. I have gained three lbs. I am trying desperately to stick to my own advice in my one blog and not panic! So far the calm is winning out. We'll see what happens...
