Hi! My life is blessed and full of activity. Our family is on the go constantly. I find it difficult to balance everything. I have let my family's health slip and we are all showing the results with extra pounds and a fewer active activities. Some of my personal goals are to counteract time and be able to play sports again and gain energy so I can do more. So glad to find this sight and I am hopeful it will help me meet and maintain my goals.

My Goals:
goal: get into the habit of thinking about what I eat and if I'm actually even hungry. I like the idea of small meals throughout the day.

Personal Information:
I live in rural Kentucky and love it! I'm surrounded by trees and green everywhere I go! God is good and our life is blessed. I've always tried to be conscientious about our health but it has taken a back burner in the last several years to my career and community/church responsibilities and it shows in myself, my husband and my children. I've tried to get things rolling twice in the past 3 years. Each time some 'catastrophe' occurs and I throw it all out the window. But not this time. We had one of those 'catatrophes' a few weeks ago with my foot injury...but I held on and even though we've slowed down we've not given up! That's a promising turn of events for us. Hopeful for the future.0

Other Information:
I am most at home outdoors in any season and just about any weather.
I enjoy flower and vegetable gardening. I also want to learn more about plant propagation. I'd like to get my master gardener license someday.
I enjoy reading sci-fi, historical, fiction, science based knowledge, and most of all the Bible, especially Proverbs.
I have become a scrapbook fanatic.
I covet sleep. My idea of luxury is sleeping late.
I enjoy all kinds of music.
I really enjoy my job but sometimes I have a hard time leaving it at work.

Thanks for the Goodie. It came at the right time. I needed a Bear Hug today!! : ) You are very welcome for the notes... I haven't been on as much as I would like here recently, but I'm doing my best to keep up on everyone. Hope all is well! My summer is in full swing, just not exactly how I'd like to be spending my summer. Can't complain though.

I was begining to think you had. Haha, I just like checking on you. I will MOST certainly get pics of me skydiving, for my scrapbook, and of course spark! I was going to make it my reward for my goal weight, but I didn't want to wait that long. As SOON and I'm under 200lbs. I will get my butt on a plane and jump out! I can't wait. My dad even said he'd go with me. : ) He used to skydive all the time, and he said he'd love do it again with me. Especially since I'd be reaching a goal of mine along with having fun. I'm SO glad you are feeling better, and the weather has been woderful here too! It's windy, but beautiful so I'll take it.
