I've gained too much weight since a car accident 3 1/2 yrs ago left me with serious migraine issues, (hard to work out with pounding headaches) and now it's impacting blood pressure too, so it's time to get back to a regular exercise routine and return to healthier, more energetic lifestyle.

I've done well before with specific goals, tracking activity and consumption, so hope this site will help me make the progress I expect. Looking to drop 50 # by my 50th BD, which s/b doable if ...

HIP HIP AWAY!!! - only 5 weeks into using this site seriously and already the pounds are melting off (pants are also falling off but that's another story!) Saw the Doctor Tuesday - and blood pressure is almost normal. Next challenge is to get the cholesteral levels back into gear - and the recipe is - more diet/exercise. I can do it - I am worth the investment.

Best surprise benefit so far - able to ski longer/harder than I have in a long time & my husband is much more attentive!

~ 7 more months to go to lose the next 37 pounds and hit the 50 by 50 goal. Still on track at 1-2 pounds per week. Biggest challenges are keeping it under control when traveling.

SKIING IN THE SPRING TIME!!!
Kicked my 20 yr old son's behind during our 3 day skiing adventure! Not truly a fair challenge, as he's recovering from the creeping crud/cough/bug, but still! I wore him out all three days.

And best of all - last run of the day I made it down GUNBARREL (at Heavenly - gruesome mogul run - but oh, the sense of achievement!)

My Goals:
I want energy to enjoy doing things with my sons and hubby other than watching sports on tv!

My Program:
Cardio - 6 x week for 60 min minimum
Strength - 3 x week
Intervals - 5 x week
Eating smaller portions but more often and drinking water by the gallon!
