I have been fat and thin. I admit that thin is better, but then there is the problem of maintaining that body. I guess I just got busy and life was going by faster than I realized. Then one day last October I looked at myself and thought, this is not the me I want to be. When am I going to be that person? So the journey began that day. I have lost over 40 lbs since then and stuck with it during the holidays and even my father's death last February. I am proud of how far I have come, but still have the last half to go. Then I found SPARK. It has really made a difference knowing I can track my calories and exercise daily. The recipes are great and the meal plans really keep me motivated. Since starting on SPARK, I have lost another 4 lbs, and broken through a serious plateu that had me really frusterated. Thanks for all the tips, motivation and friends here on the website. Let's all work toward getting this thing done so we don't have to ask ourselves "what took me so long?".

My Goals:
My goal is to lose about 45 lbs by fall. I plan to stick to my diet and commit to a daily exercise plan.


My Program:
I focus on muscle targeting, calorie intake and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. I also strive to get plenty of rest each night. I like to use the eliptical trainer, treadmill, pilates, and wieght machines.



Personal Information:
I am from the Land of OZ. I love to travel and I LOVE art, music and film. I am a movie junkie! I also love to discover new music on the internet. I enjoy time with my family and hanging out with my friends.


Other Information:
My favorite bands are: Maroon 5, Nickleback, Fall Out Boy, Luna Halo, Daughtry, and Matchbox Twenty. I love mostly classic film, but also some Indie stuff too. I love to read as well, but don't get as much done as I should. I am more into music because I can download my IPod and then make workout mixes. They keep me motivated and help me focus on my goals.
