I signed up again for another 5% weight loss challenge starting April 8. The challenge runs for 8 weeks. I find this challenge helps me get back on track and keeps from gaining all my weight back. I have been a Spirited Underdog for most of the challenges.

I live in Washington State. I have struggled with weight my whole life. More than once I''ve had to lose 30 pounds. It just kinda creeps up on ya uh?

My family includes my husband, 2 Moluccan cockatoos (more trouble than my children were) and a Pomchi .

I have 3 daughters, 2 live in the Seattle WA. area and Silverdale. My Youngest daughter lives here in Port Angeles. and she gave birth 13 months ago to a beautiful baby girl 2/20/16. I babysit her a couple days a week and am thrilled to do so. I have 4 other grandchildren, ages 23, 18, 6 and 4. My biggest wish was to live closer to my children and grandchildren. My wish came true, but it was hard won. On Oct 18, 2013 we had a house fire in our home in Lake Havasu, AZ. It took nine months of misery, rental moves, and insurance adjustments but we moved into OUR home in Port Angeles, WA 7-18-2014.

Here''s to us ALL "positively" losing and keeping our weight off!!

THANK YOU Debby For turning in Sun thru Mon Exercise/LTGL and thus helping us to LAND as soon as possible ! As of right now the top 3 are NECK AND NEXT !! I encourage all who can to please turn it in on Tues and Weds until we do land.

Hon how are you doing? Is Mom hanging in? It's so HARD when our parents hurt or go through a difficult time. My heart broke for 2 years talking to Dad at night. He was ready to go,,, and his health was the pits of the pits. Is your Mom with hospice still? Daddy was SO ANGRY when he didn't die in 6 months so they stop coming !! YO WAS making him PISSED !! However he was soon back on it.

Thanks Debby! Thanks for sticking around to chat (posting twice). Here is the big city we got little to nothing each and every time. The New Years Day snow was the biggest, but still less then an inch. The ground stayed white at my house through the next week, The roads clear by mid-day. The other snowfalls were more visual then menacing.

We have to eat to live.

I went through that with my Dad - and we had to have his plates adjusted. I had told him that if they no longer fit, we would buy a new set. He didn't want to do that ($$$$) - but he got lucky and they only needed adjusting. It took only a few minutes at the dentist.

There's always a reason. She could be choking on her foods too; they might need thickening.

There is always Ensure and/or drinks like them. I use the Ensure to make Ray's Hot Chocolate now! 1/2 Strawberry Plus and then I add water to fill the 8 oz and heat it in the microwave. I would use the whole can but if he also eats breakfast, it would now be too many calories. Right now he eats 1 egg and 1 slice homemade bread for breakfast.

I wish you could bring your Mom home again but I fear it would just be more than your own health could bear right now. I will pray for God to show you the way, no matter what it turns out to be.

Love you, keep on taking care of you!
