Happy July 4th! From Willie and Phoebe
The REAL ME!!!
Shared Food Tracker
I signed up again for another 5% weight loss challenge starting Mar 26th, and continuing for 8 weeks. I am a Spirited Underdog again. If you want to maintain, or lose weight, these challenges are the way to go!!! This time I am up a couple of pounds more than the starting weight last time. Time to buckle down before I continue to gain.
My husband thinks I am the Most Positive Person he has ever seen. I do try to think positive and keep negativity out of my life. Even if it means no news channels haha.
I live in Washington State. I have struggled with weight my whole life. More than once I''ve had to lose 30 pounds. It just kinda creeps up on ya uh?
I''m thinking that getting use to being focused on what I eat each day, will make it different this time.
My family includes my husband, 2 Moluccan cockatoos (more trouble than my children were) and a Pomchi .
I have 3 daughters, 2 live in the Seattle WA. area and Silverdale. My Youngest daughter lives here in Port Angeles. She is pregnant and due Feb 24 2016. I have 4 other grandchildren, ages 22, 17, 5 and 3. My biggest wish was to live closer to my children and grandchildren. My wish came true, but it was hard won. Oct 18, 2013 we had a house fire in our home in Lake Havasu, AZ. It took nine months of misery, rental moves, and insurance adjustments but we moved into OUR home in Port Angeles, WA 7-18-2014.
Here''s to us ALL "positively" losing and keeping our weight off!!
To maintain 135 lbs.
To Eat Healthy.
Tracking my food daily
drinking 64 oz water EVERY day.
Never sit more than 15 minutes.
Walk 5 miles a day.
I am 66 years old
I live in Port Angeles, WA
Have lived in Fl, AZ, Id, and Ca.
Our pets are 2 Moluccan cockatoos and a Pomchi. The birds keep me the most busy.
We have my 94 year Mother who lived with us 13 years and was just transferred to a Memory Care Home. That broke my heart.

No "walkies" today either - but I did do almost 1 hour with a power-push mower and believe me, it got my heart-rate going!
Question: Does O of O make you burp? I told you that I now open a capsule and remove just a bit of the Vitamin and then place 3 drops into it and re-close it. I don't taste it at all! But later in the day, I start burping and yes, you can taste it a little, lol.
I was pleasantly surprised by the scale this morning! I have promised myself to be allowed to learn how to use the Riding Mower after I reach normal!
Now that's a goal worth going for, hahah.

Ray has Lymphedema - but before you check it out, he doesn't look like the typical pictures and never did.
His left leg is slightly larger than the right and the skin was always tight - it's also the one that got those 'bumps' on his foot. According to the PT Therapist, the bumps are indicative of lymphedema.
So, he's back into compression stockings but now a "special" brand that has silver all through the stocking and is supposed to be antimicrobial. At $60 a pair, I sure hope they are! And this is a discounted price as they start at $70 online and go up up up. Juzo Silver Knee-lenth, 30-40 compression.
Dr Waller was unable to cut out the Squamous Cell Cancer because Ray's skin is so thin that it won't support stitches. So he scraped and cauterized. It will just have to do.
I'm down today - I just hope I am still down tomorrow, lol. No walking today as Ray went back to sleep and I didn't want to wake him.
