joined Spark in 2012. I quit smoking and gained some unwanted weight. started back for another masters degree (all online) in Spring 2013, gained some more weight. 6 months till I finish this degree. Still not smoking almost three years now. Working full time and managing 50+ plus staff. Never seem to have enough time for me, I need to get back on track with my exercise.

My Goals:
Loose 30 lbs.
Tone up and loose inches.
for 2013, I still need to loose the weight as well as drop off the inches.

My Program:
1) walking a minimum of 30 min/day 5 days week.
Updated for 2013, I walk 2-3 miles 6 days a week.
2) Climbing 10 flights of stairs; up and down 3 times in 15 min. 5 days a week. (doing this at work) totalling 30 flights. (you end up with some killer calf muscles!
2013 update I am only doing the stairs 2 or 3 times a week.

Stoped smoking in February 2012. Gained 30 lbs.

Thank you, Deb for the SPARKGOODIE. But, but, we must move the snow because we have so much of it. We have had over 100 inches so far and more coming tomorrow followed by rain, We have had a big dump truck in our driveway to get rid of the snow on one of our roofs and we have that happening again tomorrow morning. We have had over 120 roof collapses in Massachusetts this past two weeks. Recently a barn which had some horses in it collapsed killing two of the horses. Others survived. We just gotta move the snow to make room for the next storm. Thank you for thinking of me. We are also concerned about the big snow melt down too.

Id like to invite you to join in my challenge to lose 10 pound in Feb The goal is 10 pounds but really u do what u can. The decision to how much is ultimately up to you. i know some of us might be saying 10 pounds? WOW, that is too much! cant do it! But i am here to tell u i did it for 7 months straight, (lost 75 pounds) b4 i got sick with cancer and had dropped out for a yr and a half. unfortunately due to lack of activity it took me 3 yrs to gain it back but im back to tell you that with your help I can do it again. if u stay within ur calories that are alotted and if u track everything that passes ur lips u can do it too. I was never one that stayed on a diet before, for more than 3 weeks at a time, and then I'd get discouraged and dropped off. i lost 75 pounds just doing calorie counting and tracking to make sure i never went over. i barely exercised ...i am handicapped and i cant do exercises in the conventional way but i flapped my arms while showering, and sitting did leg raises, went up and down my stairs whenever it struck me to do so. i did very minimal stuff. the idea was to keep moving and i did that. so i know with disipline, encouragement and motivation u can too.. so i invite u to come and join me on my 10 pound challenge! emoticon emoticon
click on link below! or if that doesnt work cut and paste it! please join me on my new journey to begin again!!

Thank you for your concern, Deb. We have lots of snow - two feet plus drifts. I am staying very warm moving it. My hands do get cold and I change my thick gloves. It is only about 10 degrees. I was up at 5:00 and moving snow at 5:30 a.m.. Moved lots of snow yesterday too. We are good.
