Congrats motivator of the day. Great Journey! I too have lost nearly 40 lbs (38 and counting) since June 1. I gave up sugar on that day so I guess I really eat between a diabetic diet and a Paleo diet - I eliminate many food which as made all the difference in my life. Since June 1: I haven't had gluten, cow (dairy and meat), night shade veggies (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant) nor sugar (I do a little natural maple syrup and honey on occasion). I also stopped white rice because it converts to sugar so fast. Due to potato intolerance most gluten free convenience foods don't work due to potato starch. What I can say is I feel immensely better and the weight loss is effortless. I do drink a beachbody Shakeology (vegan chocolate) with kale and berries every day for one of my meals and I eat clean - 1 ingredient foods only. Only thing processed I eat and I could make these is Larabars which are made from nuts and dates only. The are just a handy school snack when I would have it the vending machines I now have a pbcooking larabar and an apple chased with some vitamin B12 and I good for 4 more hours of teaching my night students. 62 days ago
