Awesome job getting the gold medal! I had to look at the trophies to figure out how to get it- looks like I just need to get a TON more steps. Which might not be as hard now that the weather is (slowly) starting to warm up. I was actually thinking of driving around my little neighborhood to figure out a walking route. I know I can easily do a mile here but I forget the route I had measured (a LONG time ago). I am going to try to add another exercise session in the afternoon once my stamina improves. I am doing okay with a half hour of the bike although I have to pay attention to the speed so I can reclassify it.
Sounds like you had a fun weekend. I miss those little trips with preschoolers! Everything is so exciting to them. I am sure the time change is the problem with Ari's nap/bedtime- it will take a few days to get her adjusted, but kids take it in stride much better than you and I do! I am trying not to nap so I will be able to go to bed at my usual time.
I FINALLY made my goal!!! Did two rounds of (stationary) bike riding today for a total of 33 minutes. I guess the SPAT counts some steps outside of the "workout" minutes but not sure what ones count- because clearly not all of them do. (I have right now 4600 steps on the SPAT and my fitbit has 6447). So I just have to do 30 minutes of workout a day to get to 4000- so do you do 45 minutes which gives you 6000? I will have to figure it out...but at least I am making headway!
Still not 100%, but feeling a little better. I didn't sleep well last night so had a hard time getting moving today.
BTW Bill says we went to DW last year so it is next year that we will (possibly) be coming down...at least some of us...although he said he and I could come down anytime... soooo tempting...
yes you are light years ahead of me- I am just trying not to eat junk and do 10 minutes of exercise and 4000 steps a day. (I revised my steps downward to accommodate the difference in the SPAT tracking... hopefully I will be back up to 6000 someday! LOL)
I am having a kinda rough patch with the boys and stress so am focusing on my sleep, and just trying to do some small things. Spent some time doing some painting just for the fun of it. I have been doing something "artsy" every day for awhile now which helps my frame of mind and stress level! And crocheting while I watch tv- I will post a picture of the afghan I am doing- it's kind of neat- from a book called Lily Chin's Mosaic Magic.
