Is grateful I'm getting healthy

I'm a 64 year old woman that has gained back some of the weight that I had lost when I first joined Spark People. I have not kept the lifestyle that I need to keep as a diabetic. I've gotten lazy and have gone back to some of my old habits. I'm back here to get back what I lost or to loose what I found. :)
With God's help, I will be healthy again.

I have 2 grown children with 4 grandchildren and another on the way. I'm a semi-retired school teacher. I work part time as a computer teacher.

Other Information:
I love to read biographies, and work on the computer. I love crime shows, and anything that makes me have to figure the ending out. I also like to just be entertained.

Make sure to plan for the upcoming holidays. It is all in the planning to keep the calories off your waist. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and avoid over eating.
