I have been away from this site for almost a year now. I have been layed off of work now for a year. In that year I have managed to put all the weight back on that I worked so hard to take off. So now here I am again to start all over. I currently belong to a gym and I have a personal trainer. I am going to lose the 30 pounds that I started out to lose in the very beginning. I am going to school full time now so I have to work around my schedule. I have to quit making excuses to why I can't ...

Thank you for the nice post to my Sparkpage! I just keep plugging along and tracking...I'm better at tracking my fitness than my food.. I recently got the sparkpeople app on my phone, though, so I should be able to keep up.

When I hurt my knee I used some of the chair exercises on Spark. You wouldn't believe the cardio benefit from them ~ even the 10 minute ones. Also, I was able to do my pool workouts. Swimming is one of the best calorie burners from what my water aerobic instructor says. She has us do laps now and then during our workout and wow, she must be right!

What was the final diagnosis? Not broken?

I don't have much space to workout in my computer room either so i do the best I can. I may have to rearrange the furniture! I think some of the videos have printouts, but not all. I just checked today's and you can print it. I'm doing that right now so I can do these in the living room! The main thing is that you're trying each day and not giving up! That says a lot. I bet you could check a book out at the library with some toning exercises with pictures. Just work on the same area that Coach Nicole's videos are working on.

Healthy eating is going to be a lifelong challenge for me too. One day at a time! One change at a time. We can do this!

Have you been doing the spark videos? Boy, am I out of shape. The one today involved pushups and tricep work. I had to do a modified version. Oh well, better than not doing anything! I also did a 33 minute cardio DVD at home rather than going to the gym today. Too cold out!

How are you doing?
