Doing nothing is very hard to do ... you never know when you're finished.- Leslie Nielsen

I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

Sadly, I made the huge dieters mistake of thinking of it as something with a beginning and an end and once I was no longer tracking all my food and exercise I fell back into old habits.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

Thank you for the Belgian chocolate, and it's dark too-my favorite! I'll be sure to eat small pieces, starting next week I had Cuban Flan for dessert tonight-I'm stuffed.
OMgoodness, your Steve is a treasure. I love flowers too, roses, lilies of the valleys, snow drops, daffodils, jonquils, narcissus, gladiolas, and the list goes on. I don't care for gardenias and pansies-left over from mom telling me they were dirty old men growing in the garden bed! LOL. She didn't like pansies either!

I have wondered how many steps Tony would log if I put the flex around his neck like a collar. He can be pretty speedy. On the other hand, he sleeps a lot too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I can't wait to try the Tunisian crochet. I assume the first thing I'll make is a dish cloth. That's often a recommended first project. Perhaps I'll have some done by the time we meet and I can show it off!

I admit it. I do love being out in the fresh air. Sunshine makes it even better. It was cold today. I wouldn't mind a warm up but I guess I'll take what I get.
