Doing nothing is very hard to do ... you never know when you're finished.- Leslie Nielsen

I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

Sadly, I made the huge dieters mistake of thinking of it as something with a beginning and an end and once I was no longer tracking all my food and exercise I fell back into old habits.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

You've definitely kept your weight off longer than me. For a while, I was only checking my acct once per month for the last two years. I'm picking up my velocity though. I'm going to be spending more time on here blogging and I'm going to go through the Team challenges list and try to complete them all, because I never have. Weight loss is needed for me but more than anything I just want to be more tuned into healthy choices hoping that the choices I make will have positive results.

Glad you're doing well. Have a great week! emoticon

You know, my daughter has a tracker but it does not sync with ours. Oh well. My little granddaughter(7) is making her steps-w/o a fitbit of course. My older granddaughter has one but it won't sync with her computer.
You know I should get one for Erik, the way he walks around the hospital 4X weekly he might be doing pretty well himself. emoticon emoticon

I know you can hit 4 million. I had 5 million steps -- close to 6 million actually and was surprised that the average wasn't even a million. I know my dog walks have a lot to do with that. I wonder how many million steps Molly achieved in 2015.

Maybe I should put the Flex on her now that I have the Charge HR.

Thanks for stopping by my resolutions blog. You are right -- I'm not big on making a resolution on January 1. There are 365 days every year (and an extra day every once in awhile) in which to choose to do something good, We'll do what we can to see the "kids" meet their resolutions. John and I already did.

Hope Steve is feeling better and I hope you can avoid this bug!!
