I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

My Program:
1 Drink at least 8 glasses of water /day
2-Measure and track all food- increase sv of wh. grains & fish.
3- consistant exercise- do usual 5 mil walk daily Run every other day.
4-ST with spec attn to core.
5- stretch with spec attn to IT band.

Clothes shopping is SO frustrating isn't it??? I had told myself that when I got to 75% of my weight loss goal I would spend some of my tax return money (that I stashed aside) on new clothes. So I got there a few weeks ago but didn't get to do much buying (and then I gained a few lbs back....oops). My frustration is that I am in a weird phase of being BETWEEN sizes. I put the same article on in one size and it is too big and frumpy but the smaller size is too tight. Give a girl a break! :) So I decided to wait a lil longer and go in a few weeks right before I go on vacation. Hopefully the combo of those two factors will keep me extra motivated!
