I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

My Program:
1 Drink at least 8 glasses of water /day
2-Measure and track all food- increase sv of wh. grains & fish.
3- consistant exercise- do usual 5 mil walk daily Run every other day.
4-ST with spec attn to core.
5- stretch with spec attn to IT band.

Donna, your blog really spoke to me. I am more cognizant of moving. I am getting in 3500 - 4500 steps on most days. I find myself sittin too long, also ...SO, today, even though I was soooo tired this a.m.. ..I moved more and I'm going to move more each day to see if I can get a routine 7500 - 10k steps daily! Wouldn't that be marvelous for the bod! Lol We can do this! emoticon emoticon , Brenda
