Doing nothing is very hard to do ... you never know when you're finished.- Leslie Nielsen

I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

Sadly, I made the huge dieters mistake of thinking of it as something with a beginning and an end and once I was no longer tracking all my food and exercise I fell back into old habits.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

Okay, we are in the same boat! I've been coasting in the same waters for entirely too long. I really need to buckle down, lose the initial 10 pounds for the September wedding than work on the remaining 20. These 30 once lost and recovered need to go and I need to stop "putzing" around. 7 days of on track of food tracking challenge time-you ready?

Thanks for the advice on my blog. I'll give the fiber in my water a try. I also have to start eating a defined lunch -- I've tended to just snack here and there -- and make it vegetable based. I started to pay greater attention to carbs per meal recently.

I have definitely come a long way with Spark but I need to finish the journey now -- not one of these days.

Thanks for your support!

Okay, changing my prayer list to note that Raiden is now 4. Praise God, and prayerfully he'll see many more birthdays. emoticon emoticon emoticon
