I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

Since I have logged 1000 mi finally...(10/24/2013)...

log 2000 miles by the end of 2014.

streak daily yoga/flex...10 min daily.



My Program:
1 Drink at least 8 glasses of water /day
2-Measure and track all food- increase sv of wh. grains & fish.
3- consistant exercise- do usual 5 mil walk daily Run every other day.
4-ST with spec attn to core.
5- stretch with spec attn to IT band.

I'm a list maker and a little anal so I've broken it down to a goal or two for each part of my life; mind, body and spirit.
Body is a great place to start - I need to loose at least 25 pounds and due to a lot of inflammation (no disease process, just puffy) my joints are achy. I think the healthier diet and increased exercise will do the trick for both goals.

Thanks for stopping by my blog whining about my lack of motivation. Every day is a new day and I just need to start choosing the healthy way. It definitely makes my body feel better. You'd think that would be all it would take.

I hope your nephew's son is holding his own.
