I Started SP the end of Jan. 2009. Briefly, I have always had some issues with my weight. I had had some success with diets, most notably WW where I was able to get down to 138 very briefly and settled into 143 comfortably. My lifetime WW weight goal was 153 which was easily bypassed at that time.

So in the years after WW I struggled just to keep from zooming totally out of control.

When I found SP in Jan. I was determined that this was not a diet. A beginning yes....the first day of the rest of my life sort of thing....but no end....this is a healthy lifestyle quest and it has to be habits that last forever. So at this point, I haven't met my weight goal quite yet....I have met a lot of fitness and appearance goals and I have met myself metaphorically and I really like this new friend.

Thanks for the kind words on my blog!! I try to concentrate on the now and finding some joy each day. That helps.

Hope you're not too buried from the snow. We didn't get as much as predicted but are expecting a bit more in the next couple of hours. John's appointment for today has been canceled and I'm hoping we can reschedule Master Gardener class for tonight. The snow removal will leave me worn out.
