Hi, my name is Desi. Last year I set myself a goal of losing 80 pounds before the end of 2011. I can now say, quite happily, that I am 30 pounds into my goal. I have stumbled a few times on my diet (during Christmas and New Year's), but I have bounced back and am back on track.

I am currently counting calories and just monitoring what I eat in general. I always ate maybe once or twice a day before, but now I eat three balanced meals with two healthy snacks. This seems to ...
Hi, my name is Desi. Last year I set myself a goal of losing 80 pounds before the end of 2011. I can now say, quite happily, that I am 30 pounds into my goal. I have stumbled a few times on my diet (during Christmas and New Year's), but I have bounced back and am back on track.

I am currently counting calories and just monitoring what I eat in general. I always ate maybe once or twice a day before, but now I eat three balanced meals with two healthy snacks. This seems to have helped boost my metabolism. I walk around seven miles a day and am loving it. I have never felt more alive than I do at this moment in my life. I can truly say I am happy :)
