yes... i do want those things at times and i have them. once you get on a roll with the fruits and veggies (etc) you add things in periodically and it won't hurt you... i have potato every week, cheese is good for calcium and dairy... just be careful that you work to stay in calorie range and meet goals for protein and fiber (i usually hit the low end on carbs) but protein and fiber will help you build muscle and burn calories when you exercise and strength train. 1850 days ago
how are you? i'm quite frustrated now too. my job is hectic and i'm working a lot so my gym time is cut wayyyyy down and that gets me down. i feel so good after going to the gym.
i started by cutting out soda (believe it or not). i made that one change then added water, fruits and veggies and chicken... and the gym. in the beginning i was horrified just thinking about going into the gym.... now, i belong there. i started out just exercising in the privacy of my home.... then someone on here gave me the courage to go to the gym... my life will never be the same....
i'm convinced water, fruits and veggies and chicken (all my staples) helped me. i was never (and i mean NEVER) hungry. you can't believe how much fruit and veggies you can eat and stay in a calorie range -- and there are plenty of ways to add some flavor to them too!!
thanks for the friend add. i am certain that you will be able to shed those unwanted lbs and keep them off. sparkpeople is a truly incredible place. it has helped me shed 188lbs so far -- i still have 12 lbs to go and i am NOT breaking any records with this last 12. they just want to stay with me forever!! lol, that's always the story, huh.
