Hi, I am from Ann Arbor Michigan. I have been married to Clyde for 18 wonderful years. I am a mother to 3 beautiful daughters and grandmother to Danny and Grace. I started dieting when I was 12 years old and have been gaining and loosing weight for the rest of my life. I am tired of either binging or dieting and when a friend recommended Spark People I decided to give it a try. My goal is to learn to eat like a normal healthy person. In the process I want to loose the extra 20 pound of ugly fat that I carry around my middle.

My Goals:
1. By 5/30/2016 I have reached my goal weight of 120#.
2. By 5/30/2016 I am fitting comfortably in a size 10.


My Program:
1. Eat slowly 20 minute meals.
2. Focus on what I am eating and enjoy it.
3. 2 strength training and 1 yoga session each week
4. Eat vegetables with each meal.
5. Stop eating when I am 80% full.
6. Eat whole grain bread, brown rice, oatmeal with each meal.
7. Eat lean protein with each meal
8. Drink only calorie free beverages
9. eat healthy fats, olive oil and vegetable oils, nuts with each meal.

I am a nurse and a occupational therapist. I enjoy jewelry making. I like working with stone and wire. I also like gardening and am working on making fairy gardens. I enjoy sewing and quilting. My husband and I enjoy traveling with our motor home.

3. Remain active and able to walk with the pups.
4. Remain independent.
5. Maintain good health so I spend many enjoyable hours with my family.
6. Be able to walk trails and hike to sites I want to see.
7. When I lost weight I invested in a smaller size wardrobe and I want to be able to fit comfortably in it.
8. Shopping and trying on clothes will be fun.
9. I feel comfortable going to the beach in my swim suit.
