Booty Buster!

I am a mother of 4. I had my babies really close together and really never got the weight off once I had them. I have never been a small girl but I am working towards being healthier.

My Goals:
My goals really started when I first moved to Colorado Springs Co. I weighed 191 pounds!!! That was in June of 2007. I had my son in January of 2007 and when I went into the hospital I weighed 210 pounds. I decided I needed a change. I started to run. My husband is a runner and with his help I developed a work out plan. Along with a change in my eating habits. As of today I weigh 145 pounds. I still want to lose about 20- 25 more pounds and these last few pounds have been REALLY HARD TO LOSE!

My Program:
So far I have been running about a mile-2miles a day. On days that I am not running I have started doing some exercise programs..cardio, buns and legs, and ab workouts. And to keep it fun I throw in a dance routine or 2. My kids have even got involved when it comes to the dancing.

Personal Information:
My name is Denae, and I am originally from Salina Kansas. I just recently moved to the Colorado Springs area. I LOVE IT HERE. I am 23 years old and I married to the most wonderful man. We have been married for 6 years now and have 4 beautiful children.

Well weighed myself at work today and I only lost less than a pound in a weeks time. I try weighing at work each Wednesday. They have the good electronic scales. I have lost a total of 6.3 lbs in three weeks. Still was feeling a little bummed about my small weight loss this week-especially since I've been walking on this damn treadmill. Oh well. I'm not giving up!
Inspirational quote of the day:
****The wait is worth the weight**** Oh I'm so creative! lol

saw your post on another page...here is an idea that works very well for me. When I eat out, I have them bring a take out box with my meal and before I take the first bite, I cut the portion in half, put it in the box, close the lid and then I begin my meal. The cool thing about it I then have lunch for the next day and walk away feeling really disaplined and proud of myself for having a reasonable portion.

I know with Weight Watchers, if you didn't eat enough points, you wouldn't lose as much weight. Keep eating all the vegetable. Make yourself a raw veggie salad or a big pot of vegetable soup. Try to hit the grocery store when they mark down their fresh vegetables. If you eat them right away, they are still good. But remember no weight loss is better than weight gain!

Just a quick note to say I KNOW YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL. Remember, nothing tastes as good as looking good feels.

Hey I figured it out. Dad and I took xmas money and got a treadmill. Exercising outside wasn't happening. Figure my bathroom remodel can wait a few more months.
