Hi! Thanks for the jingle. I've been a good elf.

Oh! I thought all us "A's" had oodles of platelets!

Lately I am cold but that's because of losing some weight again. My platelets run 350+ so it's really a lot of platelets. However, the good thing is my body tends to heal itself rather well.

    Happy Holidays and "stay warm!"

No, washing at the sink and his legs gave way.

But we're working at keeping ambulatory. Sadly, he sometimes has to fall for us to learn why.

Using the GATR belt, I can pick him up but I can't hold him for long. I don't 'drop' him but he does go back to the floor. I'm learning that I have to try to explain to him what I am attempting before doing the lifting. Otherwise, he tends to work against me.

I "cuss and swear" but I keep trying and eventually get him up. Definitely a learning experience. Twice I had to call in the neighbors to help me - but I found out I can also call the Volunteer Fire Department. I'd just rather not have to call anyone if we can manage.

Everyone thought the stress is getting to me - but no, I just have Type A Blood and it's thick with platelets. Cussing & Swearing certainly reduces stress, lol.

Last night I had to pick Ray up again. Note to self - maybe taking Lisinopril at night not such a good idea, lol. Almost passed out myself.

I figure that the side-effects from Lisinopril won't last - but if I'm very lucky, my stomach will shrink some!

I have a long way to go to get back to where I was. But ONE day at a time.

It feels strange not "cleaning the plate" when I eat. I've been leaving a bit of hot cereal in the bowl since Thursday when I started the BP medication.

Feeling good though. But I might get me one of those machines that automatically does 3 readings and averages them :)

    Nah, too cheap.

    love you,
    linda
