I cannot pinpoint the exact date that I stop caring about my eating and exercise habits. In addition, I think I just stop caring for myself in all aspects of life. I have gone through the routine of living but I have not lived. I have taken care of my family plus my volunteer work plus working full time. There was no "me time". I have thought during this past 4 months, why should I continue with this battle it is useless, once again playing the victim role. I felt that I had no control over my decisions. Well guess what, I have woke up and I am ready to get my butt into gear. I have dedicated at least 1 hour a day for me, which I walk for the entire hour. I have forgotten how good it actually feels to work out the kinks in the body. This is going to be a year like no other.

My Goals:
I am unsure as to what my number is that I am looking for. I truly believe once I reach a healthy weight of 170 and continue on my exercise plan, I may stop then. However, I am hoping that I will have enough sense to listen to what my body tells me.

My Program:
I am learning how to live without sugar, and white bread each day. Even though I do slip and have it on occasion; this is better than having it every day for snacks and meals. I am learning to listen to my body and how it responds to food.

Personal Information:
I love my role as a Grandmother and wife. God has blessed our family with a new Foster Grandchild, who is 2 months old, he is the 11th. I now have 9 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Life is Good...I associate my weight loss story to the Tortoise and the Hare...can you guess which one I am??
