Question... do you take food with you on your long runs? and what do you take? how about water? do you feel you need water when you are in an actual race? do you carry water with you? I know there will be water stations, but how far apart are they usually? I usually run on an empty stomach, but today I woke up hungry and knew I was going for a long run so I ate just a bit before today's run and did not take any water and did fine but it was only for half the 1/2 distance.
