beginner triathlete, runner, wife and mom of three, RN working per-diem, and need to lose the extra weight to increase my triathlon/run performance and general health. Being very short and Italian does NOT help the situation! I find that keeping down the weight is getting more difficult each year (duh) and I need to work much harder at it :(

My Goals:
Two years ago, I was beginning my triathlon training, and running about 30 miles/week. I weighed less than 120 lbs. For several reasons I assume, I gained about 20. Went from a size 2 to 4 into an 8 thru 12. Although I am still fit, with a very low heartrate and BP, I have certainly noticed the effects of weight gain, especially on my run training. One possible cause is a medication I am on that is necessary. BUT I have also been VERY lax with my intake...

My Program:
Running between 20 and 30 miles/week- I'm currently recovering from right heel pain (plantar fasciitis-yuk!) and have had to slow down. But I'm tring to swim min. 1100 yards 3x week and also try to fit in a 13 mile bike ride on one of the more mild winter days here in NY.

Personal Information:
Dawn Marie from NY~

Other Information:
I love Dave Barry books, sing on my church's worship team, love my family, respiratory/ventilator RN per-diem....a busy little chickadee.

Came to visit your page and you don't have any comments - poor lonely comment section, so... You have a lovely family. I am so inspired by your goal to run 20 - 30 mi a week. I used to run 5 -7 a day but that was before kids etc. Started running again but really have to work back into it.

Keep me posted on your progress!
Ramona
