Well, I'm back to trying to lose that stubborn "last 10 pounds" but I will kick it to the curb, again.

I know where I stumbled in my maintenance and it was partly due to a very trying and emotional year of coming to terms with our family dynamic since Mom passed in 2013 (took a few years to get there), then getting fired because I hated my direct supervisor (let's just say men in the 1940s were more open minded and accepting of women than he was) and trying to muddle through with only 1 income from me instead of 2. We are also still trying to find a new place to live closer to hubby's work (2 years so far and nothing we like enough to make an offer or rejected financing). I have now accepted where I am emotionally and have stopped filling that void with mindless munching. We've also had one of our children move out this past year and the other was living with a friend and moved back home in the same time period. Lots of ups and downs, and now it is back to the grind.

My goals will be met eventually.

I have found such great support and friendship here at Spark and hope that I have returned those qualities to the community. If I can do this anyone can. Remember veggies are our friends ;)

My Goals:
**NEW GOAL**

Went back up to 143 in May 2017. Looking to drop back to that 120-125 range by December 15, 2017.

How I'm going to get there: Walk, walk, walk. I will also throw in some cardio workouts I find online and if we finally move find a self-defense class or other fun activity in our new area.


**ORIGINAL**
I'm hoping to go from 147 pounds to about 130 in the next 6 months.

**March 24, 2010**
To maintain my weight in and around the 120 pound mark.

***Revised Goal- to get to 120 lbs. by December 15th, 2009.***

***Another revision on my goal. I want to reach 120 lbs. by my birthday in January (I think the 120 by Dec. 15th was a bit ambitious)***

Reached 127 lbs on Dec. 14, so original goal met!

Reached 120 lbs on March 8, 2010. Didn't reach before my deadline but I am HAPPY!!

Right now I am using a combination of walking and online videos.

I am from British Columbia, Canada, married with 2 girls and 2 cats. I have a love of all things Zelda and Mario.


Other Information:
I love to knit, crochet, read and I also enjoy cross stitch and video games. My favorite author is Stephen King. My favorite games are for the Wii and the Nintendo DS. My favorite time of year is Hallowe'en and the heart of autumn in general (October is my favorite month).
