This time - it happens
I've been here before. I've tried this before. But this time - it happens. I am done being mad at myself that I know what to do, but don't do it. I am tired of having to listen to that nagging voice in the back of my head that is ever-present - reminding me that I'm fat and implying that therefore I am unworthy. I am done being the biggest person in the room. I am ready to make my body match my accomplishments and be a reflection of my ability and determination. ...
I've been here before. I've tried this before. But this time - it happens. I am done being mad at myself that I know what to do, but don't do it. I am tired of having to listen to that nagging voice in the back of my head that is ever-present - reminding me that I'm fat and implying that therefore I am unworthy. I am done being the biggest person in the room. I am ready to make my body match my accomplishments and be a reflection of my ability and determination. I am ready to start a process that will ultimately change my life and make me the best person I can be. I owe this to myself and everyone who supports me. I will eat right and change my relationship with food. I will exercise - making myself strong and healthy. I will become the best damn healthy cook I know. I will incorporate strength training into my exercise so I can be STRONG and sexy. I will silence those that minimize my other accomplishments because I am fat. I will participate in activities with others that involve using my body. I will be the best I can be. I will make it happen. Let's do this.
