Hi. I'm Davie, 53yo from Pennsylvania. I found Spark People in December but really didn't start checking it out and utilizing it till January 2012. With the help of SP I plan on reaching my goal for 2012 and that is to lose the last 50-60 pounds I need to lose as agreed upon my my physician and I and in doing so, get physically active in an exercise regiment. I've had numerous medical issues for years. I worked in the medical field for 17 years. I developed asthma quite severe and ended up steroid dependent for sometime. I have had numerous complications from them. Of course they didn't help stop me from ballooning to 530#. That was approx 10 years ago. I fortunately after several methods, Weight Watchers, Bariatric Surgery and lately Medical Weight Loss have only 50 - 60 pound more to lose. I have lost approx 300 pounds to date. Looking forward to a GREAT "2012":):):)

My Goals:
Lose 50 pounds
Maitain an daily exercise habit
Take time for me, I am important. I have control of my life.
My Program:
Recumbent bike daily, increasing time and resistance as possible.
Higher protein diet.
Lower carb. Certain fruits and veg allowed
1100-1500 calories/day(Dr. monitored) small meals
8-10 cups of water / day
Do something for myself 3 times a week.
