I will NOT be defeated in 2012

My name is S. and i will be 28 in February. I have made excuse after excuse on why not to change and why not to better myself. I have ran out of excuses! I have tried over and over again to lose weight and failed every time. I am setting out this journey making small goals at a time. I think having too large of all a goal has overwhelmed me in the past. This spark was made by attending a recent 'fair" and not being able to fit on multiple rides. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

Kudos to you for joining us here on the Raw Foodies Team. This will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. Sparkers come here and join this great team for a multitude of reasons. They may be curious about the health benefits of Raw Food and join to learn all about eating Raw. Many join for the weight loss. Many join the Team for a Detox. There are a great many people who do the Raw Food Diet as a Detox but then they realize how alive they feel and how the pounds melted away so effortlessly they decide to continue to eat this way. There are others who will join this Team for the health benefits of a Raw Food Diet. A diet based on raw food can reverse diabetes, arthritis (I personally have experienced this. I went off all of my arthritis meds after only a few weeks), heart disease, cancer (that is how I became involved with the Raw Food Diet when my sister was diagnosed with Lymphoma), eliminates migraines, the list goes on and on.

I get up everyday and I fight myself to stay healthy, yet I sometimes still fall off the wagon.

I constantly remind myself of how important it is that I live a healthy life and stop snacking but I end up snacking anyway.

I have been doing well since last week tuesday, I am not saying that to loud because I don't want to jinks it..

I am still struggling to get it right but I am also making sure that I put up a darn good fight, like you I do not stay off the wagon when I fall off, I am constantly getting up and getting back on.

continue praying for me, yourself and all the other sparkers that the lord gives us the strength we all need to do. this emoticon emoticon emoticon
