Getting to know me...so many surprises!!

July 25,2013....I got married 5days ago...a lovely ceremony and all but a lot of stress. I did learn about my relationship with food, where I did no exercise but stayed the same...for that I am happy!!

January 14, 2013...my knee hurts, I think it is bursitis but my doc will tell me today. I am actually fighting the feelings of sadness because I can't run. this is oooh so funny!! When was feeling good associated with running hahahaha! So now I hope I can swim for a while to alieve my knees...thank goodness the beach is nearby!


October 21, 2012...this morning Trev woke me up to run...after overcoming the grumpiness or waking up running and getting back home...the energy kicked in! My goals have changed...well been adjusted and some placed on the back burner. I am working on making the most important goal to be

I compare myself with people....but never compare my strengths...only my weakness/faults etc. Why I do that...no clue. I have started to break that trend and compare NOTHING with noone because every journey is unique.

I WILL NOT worry of the ending because I have just begun!

I have been making excuses and blaming everything else and worrying if I will fail for too long.

I am Darlene, call me Dar, and I love to smile...I laugh from the belly so it's rich and loud. I love hanging out with friends, just not exercising with them lol, and just have fun.

I've been introduced to my inner fat girl and she told me that I was ignoring the outer fat girl. I had a talk with both of them and I like them. They smile a lot. I WILL now try on this becoming healthy journey and rejoice in the baby steps and baby goals along the way!!!

My Program:
1. Track my food intake everyday to ensure portion control

2. Be aware of how my body feels,how the food tastes when I eat...makes no sense eat whatvyou do not enjoy or when you are full!

3. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies per day

4. Do 30 min cardio 5 days per week which includes running three of the five days

5. Do strength training 3 days per week

6. Stretch (5 mins) 7 days per week which will include yoga once per week.

7. Visit SP for encouragement and motivation...motivate other Sparkers for my motivation!
