Today I weighed 15 pounds LESS than I did a Month ago!!!!!!

I am trying really hard to obtain the strength and persistance to shed this 50 PLUS pounds off of MY BODY! I miss the old me... an d I am ready to do whatever it TAKES to get her back! Being a A Typical Gemini I guess I know how to keep it off-- It is just Getting BOTH sides to agree to it! Being the life of the party is no fun if You are not consumming a few drinks --which are LOADED with CALORIES!!!! and it is late night --- OMG -- Thats double trouble! Never mind if the Gang wants to Hit ...

Never mind if the Gang wants to Hit up Waffle House afterwards...ummmmm 3.am and you are eating to wake up----- sober up--- what up--- 3000 calories later.... OMG

Why do we kill our selves like this? I try hard not to but--- YOU know peer pressure is alittle.... well -- no one put a freaking gun to my head and said order ... mushroom swiss philly steak burger with no onions and no peppers ..extra shrooms..... side of grits-- NO BUTTER!! ICKKKKKKKKK and a side of toast---- no buttter ----IIIIIICCCCCCCKKKKKK and a cup of coffee ---- LOADED with sweet and low!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Immma work on that one.

Anyways--- I am stoked about loosing 15 pounds! It has been easy except for the puking. which seems to happen only when I eat take out- fast food or I drink a mountain of water or water by products.

I dont usually drink soda... maybe 1 can a month? it is just not something i like nor my body--- i beltch like a 75 year old sailor when i consume one can at a sitting!!! not a pretty picture I assure U --- so yes -- I drink very little if any soda a month.

Sweet tea--however is my weakness... without a doubt... reminds me of home... my childhood.. my daddy , my mom, all things good.... except --- it adds pounds to my hips and ass! so soon I may have to find a soutable replacement--IF THERE IS A THING!!!!!!! --- or lower my doseage of this sweet drug! **** I know it is really the sugar I thirst for--- but alone it tastes like DIRT ---- with tea and the blends ---- lovely---- I cant resist it!

So thats enuff for today. I just wanted to join and say HIIIIIIGHHHHHHYA and I really am trying hard to stick to it this time...

im older now and i really know the added risks-- i just gotta get both those stubburn gemini heads together and do it --- like Nike says --- JUST DO IT!!!!!!

I am trying to stay motivated and loos this 50 plus pounds --- I know what to do-- Just having the motivation and will to do it... i want to be in my old skin by end of 2011 making 2012 a NEW YEAR

drinking loads of water
taking diet pills
vitamins
loads of yougurt -my saving grace !!!!!
and just trying to get moving..stay moving... walking. water the garden-- cutting grass. whatever ......

Congrats on taking the next step to reaching a healthier you by getting active with SparkPeople - it's a great community, wonderful resources and fantastic support- it's also lots of fun and easy to make friends because we're all in this together. And I think you are in the right place now!!

I like the way a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE is emphasized here instead of a 'quick fix wonder diet' so it's good for people wanting to lose weight, but also to maintain a previous loss, get healthier, improve fitness and many other goals including gaining weight or saving money - it's about waaaaaay more than 'just' losing weight so you have definitely come to the right place! You're off to a great start already, just by posting here and I think you'll be at your goal before you know it!

Another nice thing about SparkPeople is that we have permission to be human - we don't have to change everything at once or be in a hurry to reach our goals. Take a few baby steps and then a few more and before you know it, you'll have completed a long journey - I hope you enjoy this community as much as I have - it teaches us how to make positive lifetime changes because that's the only thing that will work over time!

Some of the other teams that are good for beginners include the Official 10-minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge, Starting Over Weekly Mini-Challenge Team, 10k Steps A Day and Motivation & Positive Attitude Plan - but there are so many to choose from, you can have a great time looking for the ones that seem to fit you best! In fact, I suggest joining more than one group, post your intro there and write blogs as often as you can - you will find tons of friends and support that way, I promise!!

If you ever need any help using features of the site, there are tutorial videos under the HELP section that can show you how to use the features of the site. You can also find them on the START page and several other places on the site. It takes awhile to get the hang of the site but you can earn SparkPoints and Trophies while you explore and learn!
