MY GREAT CARB-CYCLING ADVENTURE

Giving carb cycling a try after being on & off Atkins and JUDDD for over a year and getting nowhere fast. I have a long road ahead of me but I am encouraged alittle more every day that I have found my niche of how I'd like to live a healthy lifestyle.

Met on 10/08/13!!! 5 days early.

Missed it by 2 lbs! 229.4

Mini Goal: 50 lbs - whenever I get to it! ;)

My Program:
Chris Powell's Carb Cycling--I'm doing the classic cycle and so far so good. I'll stay on this one until I get antsy at the rate of loss or I stop seeing losses altogether.

I still have to implement exercise into my day. This is something I am aiming for in Oct. so that by the new year I have a few months under my belt to really get to it and maybe start training for a couple 5k's--run/walk by next summer.

Personal Information:
I'm Danielle, married mom of 3 nearly grown kiddos. We're on the verge of an empty nest and I'd like to accomplish my goals so that I can enjoy a life of more fun, activity & adventure with my husband.

Looking to finally meet my weight loss goal by the end of next year and have a better understanding about fitness and nutrition.

Thanks for what you wrote on my blog today.
The only thing on that list of veggies that seems okay for a shake is cucumbers it seems, but that's not much in calories.
I do need to find ways to do veggies differently. Thanks for the push for that.
