Looking for the Light

I'm a lawyer, so I work pretty much all the time, and my life is a constant barrage of stress. This has not helped my eating/exercise habits.

I have been "heavy" all my life, and I am sick of it. The past few months I have been feeling very out of control - hating my job, my living situation, my social situation, and pretty much everything. So now I am trying to take control, one (very small) step at a time. I know this sounds a bit trite, but there are a reason that things become cliches!

I'm online pretty much all the time (since I am chained to my desk and/or Blackberry) and I always enjoy "meeting" new people. Plus, I'm always looking for motivation!

My Goals:
I'd like to do a complete overhaul of my eating and exercise habits, because they are TERRIBLE, and my oh-so-hectic job has only made them worse over the last few years.

I currently get no exercise right now, so my first goal is to implement something - anything! - active into my daily routine.

My Program:
I usually have a spinach smoothie for breakfast every day, and I am starting to have them for dinner as well (because that is one of the hardest things for me, as I get home from work very late, never have groceries, and have no time to cook anymore). I am trying to limit my carbs, cut out refined carbs and sugar, and make sure that my meals are balanced - no more cheese on toast for dinner!
