Feel trim again

Dario, father, professional engineer and overweight. For past several years my weight has gone up and regardless of what I did wouldn't go down. I started a ketogenic diet that started to shift the weight, but didn't seem to be nutritionally balanced. After 4 weeks I found Sparkpeople and have started on a better regime.
I'm back walking the dog every day - we both are the better for this and using the Sparkpeople workouts.

My Goals:
To have a healthy lifestyle that will minimise the reliance on medication as I age
To achieve and maintain a weight of 83 kg
To track what I eat and how much I exercise

My Program:
3 main meals and 3 small meals each day - try to eat no more than at 3 hour intervals.
Eat at least 50g and no more than 150g of protein food each meal.
Keep carbs to about 120g/day and fat at around 25-30g
Brisk walk for at least 30 minutes each day.

Where do you buy the Kanga Bangers...? They'd definitely have to be a very healthy sausage --
You are really doing so well.. just wish I could make some sort of a start.. after 2+years.. I'm losing hope.
Also, enjoying your walks around Tassie and your play with your dog.. I loved his greeting when you got home from one of your trips.. I guess he knows he's loved and you'll be there for him...

hi Dario!thanks so much for your comment!! I had no idea about the fact that I need 20% more.
I AM mainly sedentary besides the one or one and a half hour long exercises that I do daily, so I think this 20% is available for me.
