Darci....on the long road to reinventing herself

Woof woof I know...I had a lot of talk and not much action back in the beginning of 2009. Funny thing about it- I was serious. I'm not sure what my issue is- I can't seem to stay on track and stay focused.

I'm not going to talk a big talk this time...I'm going to take one day at a time and make better decisions one day at a time. I hope at the end of the day each day it will all amount to something.

Nothing has changed since my last introduction except I am another ...

Hello everyone. I am a 36 yr old married/working mom of 5 on the road to reinventing herself. I am claiming some ME time finally. It's time to start focusing on myself- for the heal-th of it.

I've got drive, I've got passion- my hurdle is that I don't have TIME! I'm tired of sitting around wishing someone would waive a magic wand around me and I'd be in shape. For some reason it hasn't happend yet! In the meantime I sit, and sit and sit and allow more time to pass as I get bigger and bigger. Now I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life and I'm about to change that!

Time has no choice but to work for me now!

Watch out because here I come...

DARCI REINVENTED-REDO-RESTART-RECLAIMING VICTORY FOR ME!!!

My 2009 goals are:

1) Lose two pounds per week with a goal
2) Bring my lunch to work most days of the week for health and finances
3) Put myself first-take time for me
4) Perform some level of activity 30 minutes 3 times per week
5) Spend qulaity time with my family

Okay Darci... I'm back in. How are you doing with your... head.. is it in it to win it? Let's do this thing girl! I just charted my goals and I will be at goal on 01/01/10 - and this is at a reasonable rate of loss. I'm takin' a trip when I get there and I want you to go with me!

We are so doing this!

Thanks for stopping by. I am going to put forth an effort this week to get up earlier for exercise. It's really hard b/c when I come home from work, it seems I never stop and before I know it, it's 11PM and time for bed...to exhausted to work out.

I'm hoping a morning walk or 15/20 minutes of exercise will help boost my energy in the morning then I can cut back on the coffee!
